Written by sdperlman

Since she emerged from Humber College’s jazz program in 2006, Sophia Perlman has become a regular fixture of the southern Ontario jazz and blues scene. Her musicality, old-soul voice and skill as an improviser have made her a first-call featured singer and collaborative guest musician. In addition to performing and touring with her own quartet, she is found performing and recording regularly with a spectrum of Canadian jazz artists. She was featured and contributed to JUNO winning/nominated records by Brandi Disterheft, Adrean Farrugia and Matt Dusk. She currently maintains an active performance career in Toronto and Hamilton.
